What's a logo for?

A logo is defined as a symbol or emblem that acts as a trademark or a means of identification. It becomes a symbol for the institution or entity. How does that effect you? Your logo is sometimes the first thing people see as they inquire about your business. It should be memorable and represent you well.

The benefits of a well crafted logo are:

• Logos help facilitate brand recognition and public awareness

Smoked Tenderloin...

"pork is a nice sweet meat!" lol And is it ever...
I recently upgraded to an upright gas smoker and I really enjoy it. (more on that later) One of the first things I tried on my smaller smoker however was a pork tenderloin. Here the details below.

Credit Where Credit is Due

I came across a website last night http://truewifeconfessions.blogspot.com/
OMG! First of all I'm not really sure how I got there, my anniversary is coming up and I was looking for extra points on making it special. However i guess curiosity got the best of me and I followed the link.

What I found was shocking! It was a blog from many woman confessing things that they really could not tell their husbands. I know what your thinking.... it was not pornographic. lol It was harsh though (as a husband) reading the things these woman were complaining about. It was like a train wreck. I couldn't stop reading it either! Be forewarned guys it's not for the faint of heart... however, the truth hurts sometimes. I gotta say if your a guy, a husband, or even a boyfriend who might want to be a husband someday, wake up, read these posts, take notes, and change! (esp if one of these is you!!!)

I couldn't help but think though. I feel I have a great relationship with my wife. It hasn't always been great and at times we have our problems but what gets us through is communication. And I can't help but think that if these wives communicated their thoughts to their husbands that they might not be in the situation they are in. Check out the site and take what you will from it.

I have to give the site some props, "credit where credit is due", its a great idea for a web site and it gets a big WOWTHATSGOOD!
